George Messenger
Founder and President
George is from Potomac, Maryland and is a student of the Heights School class of 2017. He is the editor for the school newspaper and a member of the varsity lacrosse team. He also runs his own business year round. George attended the Witherspoon Institute's Moral Life and Classical tradition seminar and was also selected for the Jackson Scholars Senior Thesis Program at the school, a program for only the students with the highest grade point averages.
Oscar Parmenter

Oscar is from Dallas, Texas and is a student of the Cistercian Academy class of 2017. He is a Varsity football player and participated in the Witherspoon Institute's Moral Life and Classical tradition seminar.
Thomas Clement

Thomas is from Alexandria, Virginia and a student of the Heights School class of 2017. He is the captain of the debate team. He is the founder of the very popular ACT prep club at The Heights, and a member of the varisty track team.
Sean Rowan

Sean is from McClean, Virginia and a student of the Heights School class of 2017. He is a swimmer, writes for the school paper, and works at a sailing school in the summertime.
Gabriel Ridout

ABOUT
Goal
The objective of this group is to encourage students to apply writing and reasearch skills prevalently to topics of their own interest. It also presents an early beginning for students to learn the importance of politics and acedemia, and to develop opinions unaffected by the thoughts of others.
Involvement
A member of the model think tank is primarily a student. Nevertheless, like any other activity, one devotes time and effort to reasearch and publish articles and essays on relevant topics extracurricular to those of the school through the model think tank.
Idea
Founded as an extracurricular activity for highschool students, the idea was inspired by the several think tanks in Washington D.C., one of the most politically and economically active cities in the world.

This group is for high-acheiving highschool students from across the nation, of different perspectives and backgrounds.
